Strawberry

 Strawberry 🍓 



Here's a classic strawberry shortcake recipe:

Ingredients:

- 2 cups all-purpose flour

- 1/4 cup granulated sugar

- 2 teaspoons baking powder

- 1/4 teaspoon salt

- 1/2 cup cold unsalted butter, cut into small pieces

- 3/4 cup heavy cream, plus more for brushing

- 3 cups sliced strawberries

- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar

- Whipped cream, for serving



Instructions:


1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

2. Make the shortcake: Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Add cold butter and mix until crumbly. Pour in heavy cream and mix until dough forms.

3. Roll out dough and cut into rounds. Brush with heavy cream and bake for 18-20 minutes.

4. Prepare the strawberries: Mix sliced strawberries with granulated sugar. Let it sit for about 15-20 minutes, until strawberries start to release their juice.

5. Assemble the shortcake: Split the shortcake in half horizontally. Spoon some of the sweetened strawberries over the bottom half of the shortcake. Top with the top half of the shortcake. Serve with whipped cream.
